IGNIS and RitDisplay have just announced the world's first AMOLED display on Amorphous Silicon (see press release and news coverage for more information).

IGNIS and DuPont Displays produced a 480x272 AMOLED display, with DuPont's printed OLED technology and IGNIS's amorphous silicon backplane technology. The amorphous silicon backplane was produced by E-Ink Holdings. The display was demonstrated at SID 2010 and SID 2011.
