FPGA Designer

Overview

AMOLED is a new cutting-edge display technology used in the latest mobile phones like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the curved S6 Edge. With its stunning image quality, thin form factor and low power, AMOLED displays are being developed for every application from mobile devices to HDTV. LG is currently shipping TVs from 55″ Full-HD to 77″ UHD.

IGNIS Innovation designs technology that makes AMOLEDs last longer, look better, and cost less. Spun out from the University of Waterloo in 2000, and based on 15 years of R&D, IGNIS has over 100 patents granted and pending. We have strong relationships with leading display manufacturers, and are working with them to include our technology into the next generation of AMOLED displays.

We are pushing the limits of what these displays can do. This uncharted territory comes with significant challenges, but also substantial opportunities. Currently we have work on-going on 55″ Full-HD, 55″ UHD and 65″ UHD prototypes as well as wearable, mobile and tablet displays.
